The Software Engineering Research Lab (SERL) at Blekinge Tekniska Högskola collaborates actively with several partners from industry and society, including Ericsson AB, Fortnox AB, Svenska Handelsbanken AB, Itestra Sverige, Maxkompetens Sverige AB, Sony Sverige AB, Spotify AB, Swedbank, Telia Company AB, and Volvo Construction Equipment AB.

SERL maintains a national and global network of academic partners through its employed and affiliated researchers. More than 20 different industry partners are engaged in ongoing research projects. SERL wants to keep growing its international recognition and impact in software engineering research and attract talents in areas complementing existing competencies—cybersecurity is one of these areas. SERL intends to maintain strong collaborations with industry and society to provide empirically-based solutions to real-world challenges, increasing the competitiveness of the Swedish industry and the quality of Swedish software engineering education.
